Online Courses:  Please note that in order to complete your registration and to secure your place in a course, payment must first be received. If you have registered for an online course please log out and back into the Member’s website to confirm that your course is now displayed in the “My Courses” area.  If you do not see your new course displayed, please email Courses@PhotonicTherapy Institute.com

Live Classes:  If you have paid for a Live Class but have not received email confirmation of your registration, please make sure to check your spam and/or junk folder. If you still do not find confirmation, email Info@PhotonicTherapyInstitute.com

Online Course Policies

PTI offers a significant portion of our online courses as a free starter module called “Light Therapy Basics”.  This module allows users to decide if they like the education approach that we use.  This module is also included with all of our starter and advanced online courses.  Once “Light Therapy Basic” has been consumed, there is no refund on any purchased course.

If you need to transfer a course to another person, contact the PTI Office at Courses@PhotonicTherapyInstitute.com to facilitate that transfer.  Transfers of any certification level course cost $250 and must be competed before modules after “Light Therapy Basics” has been consumed.

Live Class Policies

Participants will be refunded the full amount if cancellation is received more than 60 days prior to the start of the class.  Classes cancelled between 31 and 59 days prior to class will be charged a 50% cancellation fee unless the class has failed to fill.  No refund will be given to any participant with less than 30 days notice prior to the start of the course.

You may transfer your registration to different dates for the same Live Class up to 30 days prior to the course start date for the Class that you currently registered for. For example, if you are registered for an Equine Advanced Assessment Class that starts on February 15th, you may transfer into another Equine Advanced Assessment Class as long as the transfer is made before January 15th.   This transfer will incur a $50 transfer fee.

No refunds are given within 30 days of class start date for any reason. If you are unable to attend you may sell your spot to another individual as long as that person has met the course prerequisites. Please notify the office for the data correction. Photonic Therapy Institute reserves the right to cancel classes due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to, low enrollment, at which time all fees (including the deposit) collected for the purpose of enrollment will be refunded.

In the rare case that PTI needs to cancel a class, we will notify you at least 30 days prior to the first day of the scheduled class and immediately refund any tuition paid or transfer your payment to another class date with no transfer fees. Please do not purchase airline tickets or make non-refundable deposits on lodging that cannot be canceled 30 days ahead of time. We will not be responsible for non-refundable airline tickets, lodging reservations or other travel arrangements.

Inclement Weather Policy for PTI Classes:

If you have registered for a live PTI Class or Clinic and traveling becomes hazardous the day of the class, please use your own judgment when deciding to attend. Those who cannot attend a class because of inclement weather should contact the PTI office at (304) 805-4448, ext 1 to transfer your dates to a different class.

Please do not attend if you have illness symptoms that are contagious. Instead, contact the office per the policies listed above.
