This program is designed for those interested in offering professional Light Therapy services for horses, dogs, cats, and other small companion animals as well as for humans. The Combined Certification program INCLUDES the Human Light Therapy Certification as well as add ons for Horses and Pets and hands-on practicum for each.

This program is designed for those interested in offering professional Light Therapy services for Humans, Horses and Pets. When choosing an extended payment plan, your Diploma will be delivered after final payment is received.

Hands-On Practicum – Human

To demonstrate understanding and competence with online material, students much assess and provide Light Therapy services a minimum of 3 times for at least 3 different human clients addressing at least 3 different issues of pain or imbalance. Students must submit session tracking materials for each human client.

Hands-On Practicum – Equine

To demonstrate understanding and competence with online material, students much assess and provide Light Therapy services a minimum of 3 times each for at least 3 different horses addressing at least 3 different issues of pain or imbalance. Students must submit session tracking materials for each horse as well as a video demonstrating proficiency with assessing at least one horse from start to finish.

Hands-On Practicum – Pet

To demonstrate understanding and competence with online material, students much assess and provide Light Therapy services a minimum of 3 times each for at least 3 different animals. (At least one dog and one cat). Students must submit session tracking materials for each animal as well as a video demonstrating proficiency with assessing at least one dog or cat from start to finish.

Professional Ethics and Informed Consent Documents (created in the course)

Online Exam (separate $50 fee to exam agency: L.E.T.S.)

Once all requirements are met, you may apply to the Board of Advanced Natural Health Sciences (BANHS) for CLT Board Certification.

Upon Certification by BANHS, you will be eligible to purchase professional liability insurance and submit a listing to the professional directory.
