Attaching the Fiber-Optic Probe to your PTI Photopuncture Torch

Use these steps to convert your torch for use with the Dental Probe:

Unscrew and take off the front lens housing.
Pull the zoom housing forward.
Drop in the adapter with the small-diameter side facing up.
Screw on the new housing (that doesn’t have a lens) that holds the adapter tightly in place.
The probe then slides in from the front of the light all the way until its fully seated. The probe does not lock in.

At “0” Distance (against Treatment Area) 750 mW/cm2 = .75 W – Multiply by exposure in seconds for dose in J/cm2 Ex: .75 W x 15 sec = 11.25 J/cm2 dose
