Kay has been at the forefront of using targeted Light to balance the body for Horses, Pets and now Humans with her revolutionary approaches.

Kay also hosts PTI’s live weekly education webinars called “Office Hours” where students receive immediate answers to questions about Light Therapy for all species.

 

LESLIE MAYNARD

Leslie has always been interested in holistic therapy for her horse’s performance careers. But in 2000 she fell in love with photobiomodulation. Her stallion Cutter fractured his front cannon bone in March, using Targeted Light Therapy she was back competing and winning on Cutter in just 4 months and won the 2000 Montana Futurity Champion title, then repeated a back to back win with the Montana Derby Championship title in 2001. 

Over the years she has been an instructor for various equine therapy modalities and currently Mentors several National caliber barrel racing competitors. She has now come full circle, using and loving photobiomodulation.  She is so excited to offer help to PTI Equine therapy students!

Karen has been a life-long equestrian and lover of horses and cats.  Her interest in using Light to help animals began in the early 2000s when she began working with Grand Adventures Ranch.  Soon she was teaching Introduction to Equine Light Therapy & Equine Photopuncture classes as well as reaching out to other horse lovers at Trade Shows and Horse Events.  In 2017 Karen co-founded Photonic Therapy Institute with the goal of expanding the understanding of targeted Light Therapy for helping all living beings with online courses and training.

What You'll Learn

The Certified Equine Light Therapist curriculum takes you through the basic science of how Light affects living tissue, the best practices for achieving maximum benefits with different types of Light Therapy Tools as well as how to measure the progress you make.  During the course, you will create the forms you need for running a professional practice and become familiar with correct procedures and language to use if you are not a licensed Medical professional.

No.  The Certified Light Therapist course is independent of any specific manufacturer or type of Light Therapy tool. 

You can use the tools you already have (if you can quantify the wavelengths and output of  the device) or we can assist you with finding the best tools to use for your business. 

You may find that the best approach combines a variety of tools.

Of course! As long as you remain a member of PTI in good standing, you have access to the course and any updates that are added.

Definitely!  You can get assistance from our course instructors in a number of ways:

  • Attend the weekly “Office Hours” webinars on Thursday mornings and ask your questions live!

The Certified Light Therapist course is completely online.  It is a combination of written materials, videos and interactive exercises designed to teach the principals of using Light as a therapeutic modality.

The online is augmented by attending our live weekly “Office Hours” webinars or watching their recordings. 

The final step it so put your training into action with a Hands-On Practicum.

The CLT course is entirely online and starts as soon as you are ready.  You study at-your-own-pace and  according to your own schedule.  You are finished when you have completed the materials, quizzes, and hands-on practicum. 

Some students complete in as little as 2 weeks, others have needed a full year due to time constrictions.

Yes.  In order to receive independent Certification you must pass an exam provided by Light Energy Training Seminars (LETS). 

The CLT course is interspersed with quizzes and exercises designed to teach you the basics of Light Therapy.  Once you can pass these quizzes you have everything you need to pass the independent exam.

You have until the end of the Photonic Human modules to decide that this program does not meet your needs.  Simply contact PTI at that point and we will refund your investment.
